What is there to say about Texas Chain Saw Massacre that you haven't already heard?  This is one of the most highly praised horror films ever.  It also deserves every bit of praise that it has received.

Is it a tie between Night Of The Living Dead and TCSM as the most groundbreaking horror films in the last 50 years?  For all that NOLD did for horror, Tobe Hooper's classic achieved as much, and arguably, more.  In my opinion, there was a level of brutality and on camera horror that had not occurred until Texas Chainsaw.  Previous movies left more to the imagination.  That is not always a bad thing, but this film was so in your face that people took notice and the horror genre changed forever.
